Hey, every other night we have cravings for dessert or some type of chocolaty goodness…I’ve been trying to duplicate a chocolate chip cookie recipe ever since i was a kid. Last night I found that recipe and it was the nestle tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. How simple, quick and tasty these cookies are to make. My mom’s friend always had them when we went to visit. This is also where i learned how to play chess, when I was nine. Her son Herbert taught me how to whup dat ass in three or four moves…Those were the days…great memories for me. Too bad I don’t remember what those moves were…

Here’s the recipe…enjoy.

Nestle’s Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookies

Whatcha need:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large egg
1 (12 ounce) package NESTLE? TOLL HOUSE? Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup chopped nuts

Puttin’ it together
PREHEAT oven to 375 degrees F.
COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Not my recipe but they are still the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had.

A nice large glass of milk goes well with these badboys.

(Makes about 48-60 cookies depending on how big cookies are when scooped onto cookie sheets)
